Labor Day weekend is garage sale weekend at the lake.


Friday night is karaoke night at the Pear Street pavilion.


We will have fireworks Saturday night, September 5th.



Carla has extended the deadline for shirts to 5 PM Wednesday!

Just a reminder, September, 6, at 8:30 AM is the color walk ~ run , if you're interested $20 entry fee all proceeds go to enclosing the pavilion please contact Carla Marshall before Tuesday, September 1st, to order shirts

Looking for a good time over the Labor Day weekend? Join the Captain in the Cove on Sunday, September 6th for an afternoon of games, food, and fun. After the party at the Captain's, we will be hosting a family orientated movie. Load up your golf cart with children, chairs, blankets, and beverages and join us under the stars. The movie will start at dusk.
Money goes to Beach needs.





Proposed changes to be voted on at Fall Meeting

The Fall  Meeting will be held on Sept. 13, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Pear Street Pavilion.

The following are some of the proposed changes to be voted on, originally slated for the spring meeting

Article III Section _1_Paragraph____

As of___02/04/15__ reads;

ELIGIBILITY

All property owners, including co-owners, of Leisure Lake shall become members in good standing of this association upon payment of annual dues, special assessments, and any other amounts due and owing the Association.

Family and friends of members are welcome to bring in a recreational vehicle to spend a weekend or a vacation period of no longer than 30 days in a calendar year on a members property providing their recreational vehicle is removed at the end of the vacation period. Storage of any recreational vehicle not belonging to a member is prohibited.

If, after thirty (30) days from the receipt of a written notice from the Association, any member continues to violate the By-laws or the Standing Rules and Regulations, the Executive Board shall be authorized to take any steps necessary to remedy the violation. The cost of which shall be assessed against the lot or lots owned by the violating member. The member shall be personally liable for the payment of any such costs, and such costs shall become a lien against the lot or lots owned by the member upon which the Association may foreclose should the member fail to pay amounts due plus interest."

Rule & Regulation - Members' Buildings and Grounds

Currently reads as follows: All LLPOA property owners and members shall be required to maintain their property and building structures in a serviceable manner which does not constitute a nuisance to their neighbors and the LLPOA community in general.

New rule will read as follows: All LLPOA property owners and members shall be required to maintain their property and building structures in a serviceable manner which does not constitute a nuisance to their neighbors and the LLPOA community in general. Non-compliance to this rule will result in a $10.00 daily assessment for each infraction until compliance has been met.

As the Leisure Lake Community we should look out for everyone's best interest and report suspicious activity to Security or contact your Precinct Director.



  

As you head towards Highway 61, there is a recycling station on the right hand side, just before Otter Creek. If You want to recycle your metal, plastics, etc, this is open to all of Jackson County. And it will save space in our dumpsters.
