Because some people in the rural areas are not able to access food pantries in other communities, we've created a new food pantry for the Bernard area.
Today, tomorrow, and Thursday students from Western Dubuque high school are helping us go door-to-door in Leisure Lake, Bernard, and the surrounding area to make sure every single person knows about how they can get food when they need it.
Next Wednesday, October 5, we will be having a big food giveaway starting at 9:30 AM at our Bernard food pantry which is located in the old Bernard school, near the ballpark.
Please help spread the word and let anybody you know that needs help to stop by. We will have food, diapers, cleaning supplies, hygiene, materials, and much more!
